About
For decades, the Jagla family of pharmacists has been using medieval monastery recipes, classic compendiums and traditional herbal medicine to develop and manufacture high-percentage but also non-alcoholic herbal spirits. The pharmacists macerate these carefully matured specialties (some of them still by hand today) from selected bitter herbs, fine spices, and essential oils.
Even back in the days of Max Jagla's great-grandparents' colonial goods store, the monastery elixir was very popular as a house specialty among friends, family and regular customers and was carefully refined over and over again.

This non-alcoholic lemon aperitif is the alternative to limoncello. It brings Italian Dolce Vita into your glass and a smile on your face. This aperitif wants to attract your attention, linger on your tongue and surprise you - preferably as a spritz. And ode to the sweet life and joie de vivre. The fresh acidity of ripe lemons is balanced by subtle notes of citrus fruits such as lime and grapefruit.
The pharmacists recommend this aperitif in a wine glass as a Limello Spritz with Prosecco or tonic water and mint or rosemary as garnish.

Herber Hibiskus underlines the spirit of a new aperitif culture and invites you to a distinctive way of life. The tart sweetness of the hibiscus blossoms is buffered i.a. by subtle tastes of oranges, lemons, chiretta, gentian, wormwood and galangal roots. Its finishing with a fine note of whiskey, is remarkable.
The pharmacists recommend to serve this aperitif with tonic water or alcohol-free sparkling wine as Hibiskus Spritz. Use a wine glass or tumbler with berries or rosemary as garnish.
