About us

We, Moritz and Julius, are two passionate hoteliers, with a long-term history in hospitality. From cruise ships to safari lodges, from Vietnam to Kenia, from operations to management, we have done it all.  However, after our master’s degrees Covid diverted us to the tech industry. Sitting next to each other in the office, we had long chats about our former work experiences. While we immediately felt a connection, we also soon discovered that we both like to follow our passion and find a way back into hospitality.

Checking the market and looking at trends we saw great potential in alcohol-free drinks. Still a niche market, it is fast growing with a huge potential. Digging deeper into the topic we realised that there some great products out there, yet unseen. There is a gap between the rather small producers which may not have the capacity for big marketing and the Horeca, which does not have the time to search for smaller independent producers.

That’s where we from MoJu step in. We want to increase the visibility and accessibility of alcohol-free options. Therefore, we continuously search for products with the highest quality on the market, test them and eventually list them into our portfolio to increase their visibility. Eventually, to make them easily accessible we arrange tastings with bars and restaurants and support them to enhance their menus with alcohol-free options.

With this we want to nurture our ultimate vision that guests are asked “With or without alcohol?” the next time they order a drink…just the same as you are asked for regular or oat milk when ordering a cappuccino.
